The Ministry of Health issued a closure order to the fertility clinic in Ramat Hay'il, whose owner is Prof. David Bidar.
Bidar is one of the suspects in the case of the eggs that were imported from Georgia and carry a serious genetic disease. The suspicion is that the eggs were implanted in the uterus of some fertile patients. The eggs were extracted from women in Georgia and returned to several women in Israel, even though the information about the disease was known to teams abroad and in Israel.
