The Buenos Aires region (Argentina) has been experiencing a succession of stormy episodes and torrential rains for more than three days. They left at least one dead, flooded several neighborhoods, and canceled or delayed dozens of flights.

During the night from Monday to Tuesday, 125 mm fell on the capital region, or 125 liters per square meter. This is a record for a single day in March in 30 years and more than the historical average for an entire month of March. Rains are expected to continue until Thursday.
