A fake festival organized on the Pilat dune offered tickets ranging from 315 euros to 950 euros for the three days. A purely fictitious event, but which forced the Indochina group to react.

The pop rock group Indochine warned on social networks that several fraudulent sites were advertising the concert. The fake musical event, entitled "Les Sableneys", presents itself on its website as "one of the best festivals in Europe". It invents a story, claiming to be "a modern festival which takes place every year" on the dune. A short promotional video to present the festival ends with different logos of partner organizations, including the Ministry of Ecological Transition, Coca-Cola, and... Europe Écologie Les Verts. Since the announcement of the Indochina group and after several mentions in the media, the festival's Instagram account has gone into private mode. The group also specified that it "will not do any festivals this summer."
