The Meichtry family produces pacú and rice in eastern Chaco. They are about to ship 8 tons to the North American market.

The firm has already prepared the 8 tons of pacú that will be sent to California. Pacú production is stabilized at 400 tons per year and now the objective is to double production after the agreement with the company. The pacú diet is based on rice grains left in the ponds and is fed with balanced foods, such as snails and corn.
