It already adorns that of Cyrille Maret, the multi-medalist judoka from Dijon, quadruple French champion, and bronze medalist at the Olympic Games in 2016. With nearly half a million practitioners in France, three-quarters of them young children, the martial art created by Jigoro Kano is in fact more than a simple sport.
