Around a hundred people gathered on Sunday evening in Romans-sur-Isère to pay tribute to the 15-year-old boy who was stabbed to death. Zakaria, 15, was fatally stabbed on April 9 while interposing during an altercation.

The four suspects in the teenager's death were indicted Friday and jailed. The La Monnaie district had already been in the spotlight following the death of Thomas, a 16- year-old high school student killed in November at the end of a ball, in the neighboring village of Crépol. Some of those indicted come from the city of LaMonnaie. The eldest son is notably prosecuted for “aggravated murder” and the youngest for ‘premeditated willful violence’ The father for   “complicity’ and his son-in-law for helping the family flee. He is accused of helping to conceal the fugitive criminal’s whereabouts. A white march will take place on Friday.
