A giant Palestinian flag tagged on steps in Montmartre. The news quickly sparked reactions on social networks.
The tag was removed by the municipality only on Wednesday morning, two days later. In Marseille, only a few weeks ago, the emblematic staircase of the Cour Julien had also been painted twice in the colors of Palestine, before being quickly cleaned. The town hall of the 18th arrondissement confirms having been informed of the facts on Monday morning. The flag of #Palestine as well as a “Free Gaza” tag were inscribed on the stairs leading to the monument.
