Rhône police officers carried out an operation to combat drone overflights around the Villefranche-sur-Saône penitentiary center. They were able to intercept two devices as well as several packages intended for detainees.
The police also recovered a kilo of cannabis and 3,795 euros in cash. A similar operation was carried out at La Talaudière prison, in the suburbs of Saint-Étienne. The Lyon operational support group led to the seizure of three drones near the Loire establishment.
