María Ángeles Infante, daughter of the Andalusian political leader murdered by military coup plotters at the beginning of the Civil War, dies at 93. She dedicated her life to preserving the historical legacy of her father, murdered by Franco's military in August 1936.

For much of her life she was in charge of safeguarding and disseminating the legacy of the President of the Blas Infante Foundation. In 2022 she collected the Manuel Clavero Medal awarded by the Junta de Andalucía on the occasion of Andalusia Day.
