Jorge Roa, mayor of Florida, Chile, was arrested after a drunken traffic accident. Roa announced his resignation from office through a Facebook post.
Before his tragic decision he published a letter on Facebook in which he said goodbye. His funeral will be held this Wednesday, February 14, in the community cemetery, after mass in the San José church. The news of his death was confirmed by the governor of the province of Concepción, Robert Contreras, who regretted the event.
