It became clear that parts of Berger society apparently feel overwhelmed by new refugees. “There is also a feeling among the Berger population that things have to be good sometimes,” said Andreas Hlavaty, former CSU and parliamentary group leader and lawyer. All other CSU local councilors - Annatina Manninger, Andreas Schuster, Maximilian Graf and Georg Brandl - voted against.
