A newborn baby among the three missing who fell into the sea off the coast of Lampedusa. 44 people were saved, they were traveling aboard a 7-metre small boat which left Tunisia.

The crew rescued 44 migrants, but three people - two men and a 4-month-old baby girl from Guinea who was traveling with her mother - were not recovered. The iron boat, which set sail from Sfax in Tunisia at 8pm last Tuesday, sank. The searches, with coast guard patrol boats, are underway.
