A Patagonian governor revealed that the Government wants the profit floor to be 1.5 million pesos. This was said by the governor of Río Negro, Alberto Weretilneck, who confirmed his rejection of the tax.

"On such a sensitive issue, no one can compromise the vote of a deputy or a senator," anticipated the Rio Negro, who had already raised his negative position regarding reestablishing the fourth category of Profits. "With the fall in the purchasing power of salaries in the last year...Charging another reduction on that to someone who receives a salary is even exaggerated," he argued.
