The Chastity Movement contacted the legal advisor to the Ministry of Transportation regarding the travel of Minister Miri Regev and her daughter for an official visit to Sri Lanka. The purpose of the visit is to sign aviation agreements with the South Asian country, but there are already aviation agreements between Israel and Sri Lanka, which were signed in 2003 and remain in force to this very day.
"Even if an amendment is made to the wording of the agreement, it is a matter that is usually handled by diplomatic representatives of the state, and does not require the physical and formal presence of Sarah," the reference reads.
