A skier falls from a rock cliff and dies in Courmayeur. The accident occurred while he was tackling an off-piste descent in the area of the Zerotta chairlift.
Attempts to resuscitate him continued for a long time but were of no avail: the doctor finally declared his death. The investigations are entrusted to the state police on duty on the nearby ski slopes, who intervened on site with the Valle d'Aosta Alpine Rescue and the slope workers.
