With no fiscal reform in sight and with the shielding of social programs, analysts anticipate that this downward adjustment in public spending will imply less spending on public works. The Mexican debt will close 2024 at 50.2% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), equivalent to 18.16 trillion pesos.
