A survey reveals the French's favorite desserts in 2024. According to a survey carried out by the CSA institute, the pancake ranks first in 8 out of 12 regions.
Younger people, however, prefer the brownie and the cookie. The survey also indicates "a very strong attachment to desserts and regional specialties" 67% of French people say they are attached to desserts from their region of origin or childhood. 2 out of 3 say they prepare them regularly, and 8% like discover local sweet specialties during their holidays or weekends.
