Malfunction occurred last week while the crew of a Navy missile ship was preparing to lift a small vessel of the "Morena" type off the coast of the Gaza Strip. The crane installed on the ship collapsed and as a result the lifted vessel fell into the water.
According to sources at the Navy Headquarters, no soldier was injured during the accident. This is just one of a series of failures in the army since the beginning of the war, including the malfunction that led to the death of a fin fighter.
