A woman sets off an explosives alarm at Munich Central Station – and then turns out to be an old acquaintance. An 83-year-old German woman claimed that there was an explosive device in a suitcase that had been left behind.
The federal police reacted immediately, cordoned off the area and deployed an explosives detection dog. However, the dog did not strike and when the suitcase was subsequently opened, only travel items were found. The actual owner of the suitcase is still unknown. The senior citizen had previously found out about train connections at the DB Infopoint.
