Palaiseau swimming pool, built in the 1930s, closed its doors in 2015 due to a water leak. Two years ago, two YouTubers who are fans of urbex (urban exploration of abandoned sites and/or closed to the public) filmed the remains of this public facility.
In the large outdoor pool, several fish were swimming in greenish water. “It’s a shame to see this,” said a neighbor indignantly. Before, there was life here. We saw people all the time. There was a line all the way down the sidewalk. Now everything is abandoned.
