ABBA won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Waterloo" This Saturday marked 50 years since the legendary Swedish quartet triumphed in the competition. A plaque was placed at the Waterloo train station in London, and there was a celebration in Brighton.

This Saturday night there will be a concert titled “Party for ABBA’ in Stockholm, featuring performances by leading Swedish artists, a 21-person band and a large choir. The band members haven't performed live in four decades, but released a comeback album, Voyage, in 2021.
