Acadia represents the French-speaking communities of the four Atlantic Provinces of Canada. Today's Acadia aims to bring together all those who want to link their destiny to it.

It is still a land that welcomes immigrants from all backgrounds and these newcomers who choose to do so can thus join the Acadian community. For us, attachment to the French language is of primary importance. We fight for our schools, to maintain a cultural and economic life in French, but language is not the only criterion for defining ourselves as a people.
