The 48-year-old motorcyclist from Schongau was driving his BMW on state road 14 from Großweil in the direction of Murnau shortly after 2062 p.m. He crashed his machine into the right front fender and was thrown over the car along with his motorcycle.
In addition, property damage totalling around 20,000 euros was incurred. The Schongauer was taken to the hospital for medical care. The Nissan was a total loss. The accident happened at the entrance to the A95 motorway.
