Accident near a forest in Bavaria: driver crashes head-on into a tree. Firefighters freed the seriously injured woman from her car and she was taken to the hospital by helicopter.
The woman died there in the evening. Police reported that the 75-year-old had driven her vehicle off the road the day before on a country road near Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg in the Straubing-Bogen district. The exact circumstances that led to the accident have not yet been clarified.
