Left-wing politician Sören Pellmann (district) has filed a criminal complaint against Health Minister Lauterbach. Pellmann accuses the minister of infidelity, taking advantage or bribery.
The focus is on the “I protect myself’ campaign from October 2022. According to Pellmann's advertisement, the total costs by the end of 2023 amounted to 44.8 million euros. The Federal Ministry of Health has rejected the ‘allegations’ and says the agency was subcontracted verbally.
