Chishuru restaurant in London's Fitzrovia neighborhood is part of an explosion in Britain's capital of West African culture. In Europe there are only two black African chefs who have collected the award.

Adejoké Bakare (Nigeria, 53 years old) is the first black African chef to obtain a Michelin star in the United Kingdom and the second in Europe. “The restaurant world has much more diversity. Until now there was only one standard, and if it was not achieved, the rest of the proposals were worthless,” she says.
