The woman is said to have had a weapon that looked deceptively real. She then allegedly lit a pyrotechnic object and threw it into a hallway in the 350-bed hospital. When she tried to burn an object in the hallway around 10:38 p.m. and didn't respond to the police, the officers shot the woman.
