After austerity measures: District council debates other ways to support youth work. For 2025, 125,000 euros would have to be budgeted for youth centers.
The amount is to be made more dynamic as part of the wage cost developments in the collective agreement, so it could increase in the following years. All comparable youth clubs in the district that offer or will create similar offers should also be supported. However, the fundamental decision to support personnel costs will save around 350,000 euro. The youth centers would also benefit the village youth, as they also use the offer after school.
