US President Joe Biden called Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu that night. Iran has warned Washington of another major attack on Israeli territory if it retaliates for Tehran's overnight drone and missile attack. The UN Security Council is planning a special session in New York on Sunday, probably around 10 p.m. (local time) Israeli fighter jets have been successful in the sky and manage to repel around 99 percent of Iranian missiles, according to Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari. It remains unclear whether Israel will respond to Iran's self-titled retaliatory strike with a counterattack. The attack could thus mark a turning point in the long-simmering conflict between the two countries. The US President has “strongly condemned” the Iranian attack. Biden also told Netanyahu that the USA would not support an Israeli counterattack on Iran, as the US media reported. The Yemeni Houthi rebels also sent drones towards Israel.
