A man stabbed four people, including three children, in a playground in Annecy, France. A 24-year-old pilgrim stood in the way of the attacker and drove him away.
"I was afraid for my life," admits the young man, who is known in the media as a "hero with a backpack" He is currently touring the country to visit various cathedrals and has received a number of thanks on social media from people in France and Germany. The man was caught shortly after the attack and is in custody for attempted murder.
