Former mayor of Beit Shemesh Aliza Bloch announces her retirement from the city council. Bloch lost in the second round of the elections held at the beginning of the month.
"I will continue to serve the public with great faith wherever I am asked," Bloch wrote in a telegram she sent to the current mayor Shmuel Greenberg. 'I thank Aliza for her great contribution to the city and wish her great success in the future,' Greenberg wrote in the telegram.
