[HIGHLIGHTS] After the controversy over toothfish and the resignations in the Foreign Ministry, they demand an urgent meeting of the Federal Fisheries Council

The Federal Fisheries Council was created by Law 24,922 in December 1997. It is made up of a president, five representatives from Buenos Aires, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego.

At the beginning of April, almost four months after the inauguration of Javier Milei as President of the Nation, the organizational chart is still empty. Now, thirteen deputies from the UCR presented a draft resolution in the Lower House to urge the national government to name the missing members of the body.
