Quadro Nuevo was the first band to perform since the renovation of the Baroque Hall in Freising. The large orchestral concert with the premiere of the Asam Sinfonietta was moved to the Luitpoldhalle.
The stage in the Asamsaal was pre-inaugurated for the handover of the score by a small wind ensemble from the Freising Music School. The concert has been sold out since Christmas, said cultural department head Markus Bader. The hall is currently lacking all sorts of technical finesse because the stage is not yet completely dust-free and the new technology would simply break down in the long run. In order for the concert to take place on Wednesday, everything has been kept sparkling clean for weeks. A stage spotlight was plugged into every conceivable socket in the building, creating a wonderful lighting installation. Of course, if you looked closely, you would find screwed doors, cables without lamps and many an easel that had been quickly placed behind a corner.
