Aging is a question of gene length - Biotech. The phenomenon observed in animals and humans.

Researchers compare it to a car journey: the longer the journey, the more likely something is to go wrong. Nerve cells, for example, are known to express particularly long genes and are among the most susceptible to the consequences of aging. The countermeasures indicated by the researchers are largely known as anti-aging factors, such as smoking, alcohol, diet and oxidative stress. The study was published in the journal Trends in Genetics.
