Leaders of Poland, Germany and France will meet on Friday in Berlin for an emergency summit devoted to Ukraine. Poland, one of kyiv's staunchest allies, has repeatedly urged its Western partners to increase spending on military aid to counter the Russian invasion.

With a new pro-European government, Poland seeks to strengthen cooperation with Berlin and Paris in the face of Moscow. “In my opinion, these three capitals have the task and the power to mobilize all of Europe” to provide new aid to Ukraine, said Donald Tusk.
