Flughafen München GmbH (FMG) has placed 20 fixed noise measuring points around 16 kilometers around the airport. Every second, the noises generated by incoming and departing aircraft are recorded there.
Three additional mobile devices are used as needed and on request – one of which is currently located in Gremertshausen.Measurements were taken until the end of May. Initial figures suggest that the noise pollution caused by aircraft movements through the departure corridor 26R NW is significantly lower than the values that would trigger noise protection claims.
