The Albanian Constitutional Court approved on Monday January 29 the draft agreement with Italy. The agreement provides for the opening on Albanian territory of two large reception centers for migrants rescued in Italian waters.

Expenses for the construction of these two centers and the necessary infrastructure, for their operation, for security as well as for the medical care of asylum seekers will be covered “100% by the Italian side” Italian MPs adopted the project on January 24, by 155 votes for and 115 against, with two abstentions.
