Indictment filed against two men accused of stealing optical fiber infrastructure in Beit Shemesh and Rehovot. The defendants arrived by car to areas with fiber infrastructures "disguised" as workers and stole hundreds of meters of cables.
One of the defendants claimed that the acts he did were "kosher" because, according to him, they threaded a replacement cable in place of the old one that was taken. After compiling an evident foundation against the two, the Jerusalem Districtsecution Unit submitted for the conspiracy to commit a crime and theft of a line of infrastructure.
