Almost 16% of children in Gaza already suffer from acute malnutrition, according to the WHO. The rate of acute malnutrition has increased from 0.8% to 15.6% in this period.

90% of kids and 95% of pregnant and lactating women face extreme food poverty. In the last few days 10 children due to hunger and dehydration have died in Gaza. The situation is “especially dire,’ the senior UN official stressed. “The deconfliction mechanism must continue to function so that help can reach those who need it,” the doctor insisted.
