Donald Trump largely won the Republican primaries in South Carolina with nearly 60% of the vote. The South Carolina primary, the first to be held in a southern state, is traditionally a reliable bellwether for Republicans.

Nikki Haley has pledged to stay in the race at least until the primaries on March 5, Super Tuesday, where more than a third of the 2429 delegates are up for grabs. But if she continues to bring together a part of the conservative electorate, Haley has failed to undermine Trump's domination.
