A 50-year-old man was fatally wounded today (Friday) by a shooting on Yehuda Hamimit Street in Jaffa. It appears that the shooting was carried out following an argument that broke out between the two, an MDA volunteer and a police officer serving in the MGB.

The policeman was slightly wounded in the hand, probably from a stabbing. MDA evacuated the injured to Wolfson Hospital, and the doctors are now fighting for his life. Yesterday an indictment was filed against a foreign resident from Russia, for attacking his neighbor with a wooden board full of spikes in Bat Yam. According to the indictment, the victim was in his apartment when he heard yelling coming from the stairwell of the building. When he went out to check the source of the noise he found his neighbor sitting on the stairs naked. The victim recognized him and offered his help, when suddenly the attacker pulled his hand and let him into his apartment. When they arrived at the apartment, the attacker pointed towards the floor.
