Ana Mendieta was the wife of the pioneer of minimalism, Carl Andre. Andre died on the eve of the opening of the exhibition that the Musac de León dedicates to her.
The exhibition observes the work of the late Cuban artist without biographical 'pathos' and reflects her insistent (and impossible) return to origin. The only thing missing in this exposition is some valuable retropoint that exemplifies that Mother Earth is also Mother Earth or above all Mother Earth.
