Anatomy of a Fall by Justine Triet won the David di Donatello for Best International Film. Already winner of the Palme d'Or at Cannes and the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

The award will be awarded on Friday 3 May as part of the live awards ceremony, in prime time on Rai 1. The ceremony will be broadcast for the first time in 4K, hosted by Carlo Conti and AlessiaMarcuzzi. The film is a psychological thriller that delves into the secrets of a family and emits at its center a provocative and unconventional portrait of a woman. It is a writer who lives with her husband Samuel (Swann Arlaud) and her blind son Daniel (Milo Machado Graner) in a remote mountain chalet in the French Alps. When Samuel dies under mysterious circumstances, Sandra is accused of murder and the trial exposes the tumultuous relationship she had with husband, as well as her ambiguous personality. Things get complicated when the young son also arrives on the witness stand.
