A petition submitted at the end of last week indicates that the judiciary does not respond to a Freedom of Information request dealing with the list of open cases. The requests were submitted in August last year and since then the court administration has requested several extensions, but these exceeded the time limit set by law for receiving information from a public authority.

According to the law, the public authority can request an extension of up to 120 days, but in this case it is six months that have passed since the application was submitted.
