in Austria. The musical talents have to prove themselves in front of a three-person jury. The winner will receive a prize of 50,000 euros. The format was originally called “Show-Chance” and helped, among others, songwriter Peter Cornelius (73) and the pop duo Waterloo & Robinson. The new edition of “The Big Chance” in 2011 made the former Austrian ESC winner Conchita Wurst (35) famous.
