A thousand tractors and agricultural machinery paraded through the streets of the Belgian capital this Thursday morning, on the sidelines of the EU summit. Despite the concessions from Brussels, where European leaders are meeting this Thursday, February 1, the anger of farmers in the EU has not subsided.
The Head of State Emmanuel Macron was expected today in Brussels and was due to meet with the President of the Commission, Ursula von der Leyen on the subject of the Mercosur treaty which worries the agricultural sector.
