Activists from the group Animal Rising have stolen three lambs from the Sandringham estate. The three women were arrested "on suspicion of theft" The move marks the start of a series of other animal "rescue" operations by the group.

The group is calling on the British government to abandon the use of hydrocarbons in the UK. The Conservative government has adopted a law to strengthen the powers of the police to fight against these operations. The operation was carried out on the sidelines of the coronation of Charles III.
