Anthracnose is a cryptogamic disease caused by fungi affecting many plants. The main symptoms of the disease are the appearance of beige or brown to black spots on the leaves.

In the vegetable garden, the plants most susceptible are tomatoes, beans, peas, cucumbers, spinach, strawberries and cucurbits. For fruit trees, spray the aerial parts with a bark decoction once a week. You can also spray a mixture of Bordeaux and horsetail manure at the beginning of the spring to prevent fungal diseases in the garden. The vine is particularly sensitive to anthracnosed! The fungus is different for each plant, although it causes essentially the same symptoms. For the latter, anthracNose then takes the name Red Nuile, which is a name given to a species of fungus that causes the disease. The fungus can be found in the genus Colletotrichum and the species Gloeosporium. It can also be seen in the genera Discula and Pseudopeziza.
