No danger to life. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. The Donau-Iller Integrated Control Center received a report of a fire in an apartment building in Ottoburen (Unterallgäu district) via the emergency number 112. A passer-by noticed smoke coming from a skylight in the apartment and then called the emergencynumber. The arriving fire brigade gained access to the apartment using heavy breathing apparatus.
