Apple reverses, classic video games arrive on iPhone - Software and Apps. Apple's guidelines for developers are changing with an important about-face.

From now on, anyone who creates apps for iPhone and iPad will be able to publish video game emulators. The move is an indirect consequence of Apple's alignment with the Digital Markets Act which, favoring competition, led Apple to support external links for the purchase and download of applications. With the introduction of emulators, more people could turn to the official App Store to download older games available.
